It’s fiesta time!  Toronto has its own Taco Fest starting this June.

It’s hard to find a person who doesn’t love tacos. And what’s not to love? A good quality tortilla combines well with virtually anything: fish, chicken, pork, beef, lamb or vegetarian. Cochinita Pibil, Tacos al Pastor or Arrachera topped with salsa fresca, cilantro, pickled onion, hot sauce, avocado or…

The combinations are seemingly endless, just like Toronto’s appetite for tacos.  Our too-numerous-to-count taco offerings run the gamut from upscale like Los Colibris to drippingly-good casual like Seven Lives in Kensington Market,

Taco Fest is presented by TasteToronto, and will include a margarita and sangria bar, hot sauce tastings, nacho and salsa samplings, Mexican street corn, churros, tortillas and an authentic mariachi band. Stay tuned to their website for further updates.

National Taco Day isn’t until October 3, so why not celebrate a early?  Cinco de Mayo can’t have all the fun!
