Even before it opened a lower level, where people drink foamy canned whiskey sours at the Green Room and let loose in kitschy karaoke rooms, Bar Mordecai was already one of this city’s best destinations. The main floor has a quirky nightclub vibe, tapas-inspired snacks, easy-drinking cocktails, plenty of velvet furniture and a deservedly popular happy hour — with oysters.
