Espresso Martini

This Espresso Martini is a heady mix of vodka, hazelnut-rich Frangelico and Lavazza espresso that will really get you going.   It’s a rich indulgence taken sweetly over the top by a praline garnish.

INGREDIENTS

Serves 2

Ingredients 

  • 1 full cup espresso
  • 30 ml vodka
  • 30 ml Frangelico
  • 6 ice cubs
  • 5 g sugar
  • ½ Gianduiotto (praline chocolate)
METHOD

MARTINI:

  1. Prepare the espresso and add sugar to taste.
  2. Place the ice, the sweetened coffee, the vodka and the Frangelico in the shaker.
  3. Shake well and pour into a martini glass.

TO FINISH:  

  1. Cut the chocolate in half and then use a knife to make an incision
  2. Use this to fit it on the rim of the cup.
