A Gin Cocktail That Tastes Like Rhubarb Pie

May we suggest you honour World Gin Day with The Locavore?

According to Nick Baldassare, Beverage Manager of Nota Bene, the warm spices, and bitterness from the Capo Capo complement the fresh rhubarb and give the cocktail a feeling akin to rhubarb pie. Because the rhubarb is uncooked it maintains a freshness that is elevated by the black pepper and the botanicals that flavour the gin.

The Locavore

1 oz. Dilllon’s Dry Gin 7
1 oz. Capo Capo Aperitivo
1 oz. Ontario Rhubarb and Black Pepper Syrup
½ oz. Lemon Juice

Shaken and strained into a chilled amaro glass.
