MOTIVATION: The Inn at Bay Fortune Culinary Arts/ Pastry Arts Award is a scholarship given by the Holland College Foundation to first-year students of Indigenous descent living in Atlantic Canada for study at The Culinary Institute of Canada, in Charlottetown.
DONATION: $75,000.00
TIMELINE: One full scholarship per year, over six years, with a possibility of tuition renewal for a second year. The first recipient was selected in March 2022 for a fall course start.
NUMBER OF STUDENTS ASSISTED: Three to six
We want to share the very best of Prince Edward Island with all who visit and, through this award, we honour and learn from those who first walked this land and made it their own. we will also offer on the job training to the selected recipients at The Inn at Bay Fortune
