Johnnie Walker Black Label Penicillin


• 1.5oz Johnnie Walker Black Label

• 0.75oz freshly squeeze lemon juice

• 0.75 oz honey-ginger syrup*

• Optional: 0.25oz Lagavulin 8 Islay Single Malt for hint of smokiness

*Honey-ginger syrup: Combine 1 cup honey, 1 6-inch piece of peeled and thinly sliced ginger and 1 cup water in a saucepan over high heat, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer 5 minutes. Place in the refrigerator to steep overnight. Strain before use.



1. Add Johnnie Walker Black Label, lemon juice and honey ginger syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice.

2. Shake for seven seconds.

3. Strain into a rocks glass over ice and serve.

4. Optional: top with Lagavulin 8 Islay Single Malt
