Fully lacking in delusions of grandeur, the nascent Missy’s This That, set above a convenience store in Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood, is a no-frills bar with a serious wine list. More than 170 labels featuring big names (Krug, anyone?) join bottles from less famous wineries that favour rather-obscure grapes. Look for gems by the glass, picked daily by owner Thomas Dahlgren, formerly of Von Der Fels.
