Road Apples

Forget Pumpkin Spiced
lattes; this pared-down apple and Averna-spiced cocktail is a far more satisfying take on Autumn-in-a-glass.
INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup diced apple
- 2 oz Lot No. 40 whisky
- ½ oz Averna
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz maple syrup
Garnish
- Dehydrated apple ring
METHOD
Transfer apple to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add all liquid ingredients and ice. Shake well, until blended and well chilled. Pour through a fine mesh strainer over ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with an apple ring.
