My not-so-secret guilty pleasure for drinking at home is the pre-batched freezer ziploc vesper. Why? It’s a breeze to whip up. There’s no need for fancy equipment or intricate mixing. It’s a cocktail lover’s dream. And it’s perfect for those lazy evenings when you crave a bar-quality drink without the fuss. I always have some in the freezer.
Ziplock Vesper
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 oz gin
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz Lillet Blanc
- 2 dashes grapefruit bitters
- 3 slices lemon zest
METHOD
Combine gin, vodka, Lillet, bitters, zest and 11⁄2 oz water in a Ziploc bag, seal and transfer to the freezer. When needed, pour into a martini glass.
