Drink Toronto is the newly-launched business from CityBites’ (and associate C100B editor) Dick Snyder and sommelier Erin Henderson of The Wine Sisters.
The premise? Thoroughly enjoyable, boozy walking tours of Toronto’s best bars and restaurants in some of the city’s hottest neighbourhoods.
But wine lovers shouldn’t feel left out. On Tuesday, Oct 24 they’ll be hosting 30th-generation winemaker Marchese Lamberto Frescobaldi at Aria Restaurant to showcase his Brunello wines and a few others from the Tenuta Castel Giocondo.
An evening built for real wine lovers and foodies, the Marchese Lamberto Frescobaldi will lead guests through an intimate and engaging 5-course, wine-paired dinner.
Wines on offer will include the debut of Frescobaldi’s new rosé, a Rosso di Montalcino, a vertical flight of three Brunello di Montalcino vintages, and Frescobaldi’s premium top-tier, single varietal Brunello di Montalcino, all expertly paired with an authentic Italian menu.
You will also have the opportunity to purchase rare, past vintages and large-format bottles.
