2016 Fall Culinary Excursions: Andalusia Spain

Our third Delectable Destinations excursion is to Andalusia Spain.   These personally escorted signature trips feature exceptional food, wine, and culinary experiences. The trips are limited to small groups of passionate (and hungry!) travelers.

This fall there are three culinary pilgrimages to choose from: the Amalfi Coast and Puglia in Italy have already been featured. Here’s a look at the third destination:

On a secluded hilltop in the Andalusian countryside, at the junction of three mountain ranges and overlooking the Mediterranean, lies the private estate of Cortijo El Carligto.

This exclusive rural retreat will be your home for the week, making for a perfectly indulgent culinary experience. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, the estate captures the true essence of the region. It has been nominated to the Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List for the past 4 years and featured in The Wall Street Journal, Travel + Leisure US and Sunday Times Travel in the UK.

On this exceptional culinary adventure, we invite you to experience the “soul” of Spain. The country is known for many things, most importantly as a world class leader of celebrated cuisine and wine. The southern region of Andalusia encompasses some of the most spectacular landscapes in Spain and its produce and culinary traditions are just as varied. From dining with Michelin-rated chefs to paella cooking classes in our outdoor kitchen and terrace at the villa, to Flamenco nights and delicious tapas tastings, the south of Spain will come alive through your eyes, ears and tastebuds.
