The Oldest Fashioned

Recipe courtesy of Miss Thing's

• 1 bar spoon of molasses
• 2 oz Mount Gay XO Rum

• 3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
• Orange zest

1. Add bitters, orange zest and molasses to a rocks glass.
2. Lightly muddle to express the oils in the orange zest.
3. Add 2 oz of Mount Gay XO.
4. Fill the glass halfway with ice and stir to dilute and chill.
5. Top the glass with ice and stir again.
6. Garnish with orange zest.
