The Shangri-La Hotel Toronto celebrates its second year of the Taste of the Six dinner series.

Taste of the Six is a collaboration between Bosk restaurant’s Richard Singh and some of Toronto’s most renowned chefs. Sean MacDonald, Craig Wong and Jeff Kang will each have one night to get creative with a six-course tasting menu.

The second Taste of the Six dinner takes place July 19th with owner/chef Craig Wong from Patois Toronto, a  Canada’s 100 Best Restaurant in 2016. Wong was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. He studied his trade in Lyon at  L’Institut Paul Bocuse, where he graduated with honors.

Wong’s cuisine incorporates elements from his Jamaican-Chinese heritage with the techniques and disciplines he acquired from years working in Michelin starred restaurants, including Alain Ducasse’s  Plaza Athénee in Paris. In 2014 he opened Patois Toronto, a fun and vibrant restaurant which pairs traditional Chinese family-style dining with the bold flavors of Asia and the Caribbean.
