Named for a genre of art painted by psychics (with a little help from ghouls and ghosts), this lovely delicate drink borders on the ethereal. Vetiver syrup adds a subtle woody note to this delicate and subtle cocktail.

Single serving

INGREDIENTS

  • 45 ml (1½ oz) añejo tequila
  • 45 ml (1½ oz) dry Japanese whisky, such as Suntory Toki
  • 10 ml (¼ oz) fino sherry
  • 10 ml (¼ oz) vetiver syrup (or Khus Sharbat, a commercial version that can be found online and in South Asian grocery stores)
  • lemon twist

 

METHOD

Stir all ingredients except the lemon twist over ice in a mixing glass and strain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Garnish with the twist.
