Milk Meets Coconut

rum in this easily assembled cocktail inspired by the drink of choice at the Korova Milk Bar in Anthony Burgess’s A Clockwork Orange.

INGREDIENTS

• ½ oz grappa
• ½ oz Seedlip Spice 94 distilled non-alcoholic spirit
• ½ oz coconut rum
• 1½ tsp Herbsaint liqueur
• 2% milk

Garnish

• Nutmeg (preferably freshly grated)

METHODTransfer apple to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add all liquid ingredients and ice. Shake well, until blended and well chilled. Pour through a fine mesh strainer over ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with an apple ringCombine all liquid ingredients (excluding milk) over ice in a Collins glass. Stir. Fill glass with milk, stir again, and garnish with nutmeg.
