Kaitlyn Stewart’s Caesar Martini

Destined to become your new holiday favourite

This holiday season, award-winning bartender and cocktail influencer Kaitlyn Stewart is serving friends and loved ones her latest creation, the Caesar Martini, a riff on a dirty martini made with gin, dry vermouth, olive brine, and Mott’s Clamato Pickled Bean, which is the original Mott’s Clamato’s bold and zesty cousin. After a quick stir, strain, and a garnish of three olives, the resulting cocktail is a full-flavoured sipper with a salty kick that complements every cold-weather dish from rich seafood, like Oysters Rockefeller, to hearty meats, like smoky turkey or herbaceous lamb.

Stewart says,

The Caesar Martini, with its use of the Mott’s Clamato Pickled Bean, cuts through richness with its tangy flavour—It’s great to get the palate going with something salty, making it a perfect cocktail to kick off your holiday hosting.

But guests don’t have to stop at just the martini. “Mott’s Clamato is such an iconic drink. Anytime someone sees a bottle, they instantly crave a Caesar—or at least I do! I like to create a DIY Caesar station at holiday parties, with all the accoutrements. It’s a fun way to get everyone involved,” says Stewart.

While Stewart has perfected the Caesar Martini, she recommends experimenting. “Don’t be afraid to play around. Add a dash of balsamic vinegar or soy sauce, or go extra spicy with hot sauce or chili crunch,” she advises. “The Caesar can be enjoyed with or without alcohol, which makes it an extremely inclusive and versatile cocktail.” Whether following her recipe or adding a personal touch, Stewart’s newest cocktail is set to become a holiday favourite.
