The latest Toronto venture from David Schwartz (Sunnys, Mimi, Mimi Miami) is a dramatic 80-seat dining room that sets an admirable stage for Gibson Martinis and caviar service (with smoked white fish and crispy chicken skin). The menu is a well-researched ode to Ashkenazi cuisine that spans challah, chicken liver toast, Ontario chops and hand-sliced house-smoked pastrami.
