At his original restaurant, Darren MacLean exercises his passion for Japanese izakaya-style cuisine, which he manifests by using seasonal ingredients and exacting techniques. The lively 50-seat room has been a local favourite since its inception in 2015, and with its exceptional sake list and ambitiously creative cocktails, it’s easy to see why.
