Ambrose Small, a theatre producer and magnate who, in real life, mysteriously disappeared in December 1919 is also a “character” from In the Skin of a Lion that inspired this spirit-forward cocktail. This elegant spirit-forward cocktail from the Fairmont Royal York’s Library Bar makes a great welcome drink.

Missing Millionaire

Single serving

INGREDIENTS

  • 45 ml (1½ oz) blended whisky (equal parts Canadian, Scottish single malt and Bourbon)
  • 20 ml (¾ oz) sweet vermouth
  • 10 ml (¼ oz) Benedictine
  • 1 pinch coconut shavings

 

METHOD

Stir all ingredients together in an ice-filled mixing glass. Double strain into a chilled coupe and discard coconut.
