Fairmont Pacific Rim Unveils New Offerings Inspired by the Charms of One of Canada’s Coolest Cities

May. 06 2025

Fairmont Hotels have long been synonymous with five-star, world-class elegance, and the Fairmont’s Pacific Rim epitomizes that ethos perfectly.

Led by visionary regional vice president and general manager Jens Moesker, the luxury hotel offers more than just luxe amenities—it fosters creative connections, weaving local artistry with inventive hospitality to cultivate uniquely Canadian experiences that pay homage to Vancouver’s breathtaking landscape.

This spring and summer, travellers looking for peak sophistication can enjoy the newly renovated Fairmont Gold experience on the 20th to 22nd floors. Designed by Canadian design studio Nivek Remas, the plush rooms feature warm wood details, earth-toned velvet furniture, oversized marble bathrooms, and decor that showcases Canadian artists like Benjamin Kapoor. There’s also a new Fairmont Gold lounge and terrace on the 20th floor with panoramic views of the harbour, perfect for watching the sunrise with an espresso, or sunset with a glass of fizz from the carefully curated wine list.

Fairmont Pacific Rim’s culinary offerings are just as inspired. Guests can wander down to the celebrated Botanist Bar for a one-of-a-kind libation served with a story. The Botanist’s Executive Chef Hector Laguna and Beverage Director Grant Sceney have teamed up to create “Eau de Vie,” a list of four new artful and experiential cocktails. Inspired by the power of water, they incorporate rare and hyper-local ingredients, like blue-green algae and foraged botanicals, pushing contemporary mixology’s bounds.

Like any must-visit spot in Vancouver, Pacific Rim prizes wellness as a key feature. This year they’re offering three new signature facials featuring skincare by Nelly De Vuyst, a Canadian brand making waves in sustainable beauty. Both organic and biodegradable, the new line merges self-care with responsibility, allowing for mindful indulgence with respect for the planet.

Summer 2025 at the Pacific Rim offers a distinctively Vancouver experience by combining luxury with a deep reverence for the natural world.
