Best Bars 2026 No. 9

Missy’s This That

At first glance, this no-frills bar set above a convenience store may seem unassuming and unexpected. Flip open the wine list — which is of biblical proportions — and you’ll quickly learn otherwise. The selection spans 12 pages and includes magnums of vintage Champagne, rare Burgundian treasures and Vin Jaune by the glass. Cocktails are equally dedicated and cheeky, like the aptly named Can You Make an Espresso Martini but Just with Vodka? A list of Party Shots and tapa-ish snacks, like Brown Anchovy & Fancy Butter Toast, will keep you here later than expected. Lean into it.

Extravagantly rare and expensive bottles of Champagne, cheap beers and extremely well-made cocktails.” Eric Mercier
GET HAPPY
Between 4 and 6 p.m., wines by the glass are $5 off, classic Martinis are under $10, and Champagne is discounted.

SIP
Obscure by-the-glass gems picked daily by owner Thomas Dahlgren (formerly of Von Der Fels).

THIS AND THAT
The signature snack platter offers cheese, charcuterie and garnishes.

WATCH FOR
Pop-ups from local chefs and culinary creatives. Chef Gideon Gebremichael’s Ethiopian platters and Luke’s Drug Mart soft serve are highlights.
