Rain Dog Bar

Rain Dog’s concept may sound familiar. This homey Inglewood loft peddles small-producer natural wine and craft beers, locally sourced charcuterie, house preserves, conservas and chef-driven plates. What sets Rain Dog apart from other bars of this genre is the level of whimsy, knowledge and precision owner Bill Bonar (Alberta’s first Certified Cicerone) applies to the menu. The list is a madcap master class into new-guard beer, spanning hard-to-find Trappist brews, homegrown hits and rarities from global brewing rock stars. Choices are listed by style and vintage, so keep an eye out for well-cellared gems and stick around for dinner, as the food side of the menu is equally impassioned.
