On October 2nd, Canada’s 100 Best heads to Calgary for yet another all-star 10th Anniversary collab dinner.
The final dinner in this celebratory dinner series takes place at River Café, where host chef Scott Mackenzie and two great Alberta guest chefs, Lupo‘s Justin Leboe in Banff and Danny Beaulieu from Änkôr in Canmore, will welcome Montreal’s Ari Schor of Beba. There will be one excellent course from each chef. Plus, caviar, a gorgeous setting and superb wines. Here’s a look at the evening:
6:00 pm
Canapés from the chefs. Danny Beaulieu is making a tartelette with chicken mousse, fried hakurei turnips, bbq pine mushroom, pickled garlic scape and smoked mussel gel. Ari Schor’s delicious miniature potato knishes topped with caviar will make an appearance, plus cocktails from Proof YYC, #10 on Canada’s 50 Best Bars list 2024.

The five-course dinner is paired with wine by Metrovino Fine Wines.
