Bar Banane

On a strip replete with bars, none has the poise and elegance of Bar Banane. A short flight leads to a sophisticated lounge perfectly tuned for canoodling in a nook. Perch at the bar and engage with the convivial Jacob Martin, who won 2023 World Class Global Bartender of the Year, with the disco-themed Diabolical Thump & Shriek, featuring scotch, passion fruit, turmeric, egg white and poppy-seed liqueur, brightened with “super” OJ. The menu is deep in whimsically named drinks, such as the best-selling Slap Dash (espresso martini) and Drop the Ball, a sparkling and delicious riff on the venerable sidecar cocktail.

Bar snacks (delightful canapés, steak tartare, pork jowl) are superior.
