Lace curtains give a hint to what awaits inside Parapluie, a homey 32-seater on the edge of Montreal’s industrial Mile-Ex opened by Robin Filteau Boucher (chef) and Karelle Voyer (front of house). A compact menu is seafood-centric (eggs mayonnaise with lobster; rainbow trout with raifort sauce; Opus oysters with mignonette sauce), with meat options such as lamb (from La Ferme Péchés Moutons) with carrots, greens and jus.
