Bisou Bisou

Three years in, Old Montreal’s Bisou Bisou remains an endlessly endearing aperitivo bar, wrapped in stone walls, whitewashed brick and colourful tiles. It’s the place to go for sherry, vermouth, amaro and further-world fortified wines, alongside smart low-ABV and spirit-free cocktails. Sip them by the glass, like the Nouvelle Saison, composed of tequila, Calvados, rosé, Nonino amaro and a savoury kick of red cabbage. Dishes are built to pair well with sherry, wine and the like — Spanish tortilla and pan con tomate with boquerones and umami-rich Gildas.

Kisses from the full team.
