For our 10th anniversary, we hit the road with some of our favourite chefs.
It all got started the day after the 2024 list launch with an extravaganza at Toronto’s Alo, featuring Patrick Kriss and every other chef whose restaurant had ever ranked No. 1 on our list: Normand Laprise (Toqué!, Montreal), Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson (Published on Main, Vancouver), and Jessica Noël and Marc-Olivier Frappier (Mon Lapin, Montreal), with three-time Best Pastry Chef Kenta Takahashi (Boulevard, Vancouver) pinch-hitting on dessert. For good measure we added a Petrossian caviar station, La Grande Dame 2015, cocktails from Nick Kennedy (Civil Liberties) and exceptional wines selected by Sam Fritz-Tate from the private cellars of Wine Online. Next stops: Published on Main, Toqué! and River Café. Four cities, 19 outstanding chefs and four great meals. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating our 10th anniversary.
