Now in its third year, Best of the City is our don’t-miss-it dinner series presented by Scotia Wealth Management.
The series showcases Canada’s vibrant food scene via exclusive dinners and fine wines by Mark Anthony Wine & Spirits. This year, dinners were hosted at Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar in Vancouver; Calcutta Cricket Club and River Café in Calgary; Bündok in Edmonton, Avenue Restaurant in Regina, Hearth Restaurant in Saskatoon, Segovia in Winnipeg, Riviera in Ottawa, Giulietta in Toronto, Hexagon in Oakville, Restaurant Pastel and Montreal Plaza in Montreal, Les Brumes du Coude in Moncton, and Raymonds in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Fine wines were featured from some of the world’s best vineyards: Mission Hill Family Estate, Maison Louis Latour, Marchesi Antinori, Penfolds and Beaulieu Vineyard, Beringer Vineyards, Alois Lageder, Austin Hope Collection, Arínzano Estates, Stags’ Leap Winery, Attems and Luce.
Best of the City desserts were created with chef-favourite Cacao Barry chocolate. Guests also enjoyed superlative Nespresso Exclusive Selection Kenya Milima or Pure Origin coffee accompanied by The Dalmore 12-year-old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Automotive partner Volvo displayed the dreamy 2019 S60 Sedan, the XC60 and XC90 SUV‘s and thoughtfully included a very special offer for guests.
