Within months of opening in 2011, 416 Snack Bar had become an industry hub and cool-kid destination, thanks to its mix of casual vibes, great food, curated beverages and a clear idea about what the place was — and wasn’t. No reservations, no cutlery and no mixology program had been their line in the sand at this candlelit, still buzzy space. Endless requests for Martinis and the like did eventually move the needle. Still no cocktail list per se, but rather, a bar well equipped to offer a range of favourites.
