Milk Meets Coconut
rum in this easily assembled cocktail inspired by the drink of choice at the Korova Milk Bar in Anthony Burgess’s A Clockwork Orange.
INGREDIENTS
- ½ oz grappa
- ½ oz Seedlip Spice 94 distilled non-alcoholic spirit
- ½ oz coconut rum
- 1½ tsp Herbsaint liqueur
- 2% milk
Garnish
- Nutmeg (preferably freshly grated)
METHOD
Transfer apple to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add all liquid ingredients and ice. Shake well, until blended and well chilled. Pour through a fine mesh strainer over ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with an apple ringCombine all liquid ingredients (excluding milk) over ice in a Collins glass. Stir. Fill glass with milk, stir again, and garnish with nutmeg.
