The Coldroom

There’s no sign, just a small logo of a rubber duck above an unmarked, handle-less door. Ring the bell and, in classic speakeasy style, you’ll have to wait for the bouncer to let you in. But persistence and patience have their rewards. In this case, perhaps a cocktail inspired by one of the owners’ fave Montreal restaurants — a boozy version of Gabby’s Key Lime Pie, a house favourite at Tavern on the Square. Or, for the intrepid off-roader, something surmesure to suit your mood or taste.

Drink
Kichijoji, a cultural fusion of sake, grappa, grapefruit and cashew.
