After an ambitious eight-year renovation, this heritage house in Halifax’s residential North End opened last spring with lineups at the door. The crowds are still piling in for what feels like a true Nova Scotian kitchen party. In wintertime, the antiques-filled rooms are warmed with wood stoves. On weekends, there are live fiddlers. Join a game of cribbage, dig into a traditional boiled dinner, and make yourself right at home.
